How americans feel for this?? how do americans feel seeing that 90% of sports GIGA STARS being from other countries?i mean ok yall have michael phelps who is very big maybe kobe bryant too (i mean in worldwide status not national standards) and lance armstrong used to be big too i mean that is it!worldwide u do not have more stars than this no joke ask europeans for example who is bigger dirk novitski or manu ginobili or pau gasol or chris paul for example they will laugh loland ofcourse names as RAFAEL NADAL -FEDERER -USSAINE BOLT- DAVID BECHKAM (YALL PAID WHAT 400 MILLION BRING HIM THERE) CHRISTIANO RONALDO -LEONEL MESSI -RONALDINHO-VALENTINO ROSSI-CHRISTIAN LEOB-KLITSCKO IN HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING OR JOE CALZAGHE -ISSIBAYEVA,NO JOKE THERE ARE MUCH MORE TO MENTION BUT I WILL NOT I MEAN SERIOUSLY the last wordlwide americans stars i remember are michael jordan andre agassi pete sampras (who is greek basically) larry bird michael johnson greg luganis !now except lance armstrong who is retired too i think michael phelps and maybe cobe bryant i hear in cnn some american athletes who r big there that not even a person know here(SPECIALLY FROM NFL AND MLB) have u americans realise that NFL and MLB are 2 national sports that u only play and noone care for them worldwide like they do for soccer or rugby or tennis?ok guys i understand but u the americans have u realise that nfl and mlb is UR NATIONAL LEGAUGE AND U SHOULD STOP CALL IT WORLD SERIES IT MAKES U LOOK BAD

Ugh, I am totally devastated. *cries*But seriously? I have better things to do than to try and prove my country’s superiority, on Yahoo Answers, by whining and that my country’s sports personalities are better than yours! LOL.

Did it ever occur to you that USA is one country versus athletes from all over the world as in your example. You expect 1 country to have huge international stars and world record holders in tennis, track, football(that ameicans suck at), boxing and pole vault at the same time?

I believe “World Series” American style is named originally after a newspaper sponsor of that name ,is that so?
