Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, or A Series of Unfortunate Events.I hope I helped!

It depends what kinds of books she likes.I’m 13 and I recommend several books such as a Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. These are really great if you like mystery and stuff (Ran out of words >_< )I have recently read The Puppy Who Came For Christmas (its not babyish at all. It's a really great true story about a couple who adopt dogs but have to give them away again)My brother brought me "The Wall And The Wing" a few years ago for Christmas and I found that I really great read as well. But this is just my opinion, it does depend what your daughter likes.

The Harry Potter seriesThe Hunger Games seriesThe Mortal Instruments seriesOh.My.Gods.The Healer's ApprenticeThe Percy Jackson seriesany books by Rick Riordan are great! The Twilight Series(<– this might be a little risky though for her age)Matched

A lot depends on her maturity level and interests.I have a 12 year old who is crazy about Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter (I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You), Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard and Immortals by Alysson Noel. I have an 11 year old who isn't yet into the drama and romance of many young adult novels. She likes The Frog Princess by ED Baker, Gone by Michael Grant, The Evolution of Calpurnie Tate by Jacqueline Kelly and Allie Finkel's Rules for Girls by Meg Cabot. Then my 16 year old is into anything dystopian. Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Birthmarked by Caragh O'Brien, Divergent by Veronica Roth, Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness and Enclave by Ann Aguirre.Take her to the bookstore and browse. Hunger Games would be my first suggestion, as all my kids (11 to 21) read and enjoyed it. I read it also and it's very entertaining. A bit violent, but not bloody or over the top. It's hot right now and there's a movie based on the first book coming out March 23.

Meg Cabot is a great author for young girls. When I was younger I read all of her books. The Princess Diaries books being my favorite (they are much better than the movies. Series of Unfortunate Events is good too and Alice in Wonderland is an excellent book that I still read again and again(:

Alice in wonderland ( my favorite)Harry potterHunger games Artemis fowlPercy JacksonSeptimus heapTwilight39 clues (each is by a different author but the series follows an order which I think is interesting)Ella enchantedThe hobbitAmong the hidden seriesSeries of u fortunate eventsBridge to terabithia ( really good but sad)I really liked all of these. They all have a good plot. They're interesting and should be around the right reading level of a twelve year old.

I loved the 'Beacon Street Girls' I've read all of their books. It's about girls, Katani, a fashionista, Isabel, an artist, Charlotte, a book lover & klutz, Maeve, a very girly-girl with a love of pink & movies & movie stars, Avery, a sportsy and 'Tom-Boy' girl. They are all best friends in 7th grade. I started to read these books in 4th grade, although they were challenging for other students, I could not live without the BSG! They have 16 books in the series and a bunch of Special Adventure Books. It's all about being best friends, there's some mild drama in every book, middle school & fun. It is very realistic because they aren't perfect, and they aren't some weird super-heros or anything! I highly HIGHLY recommend this series!

Get her Percy Jackson!! I'm obsessed with them and I'm 12!! Twilight is good, the clique, alphas, diary of a wimpy kid? Seed folks. I still read them so yeah. Do you mind if I list some authors?Jacqueline Wilson, Lisi Harrison, Rick Riordan, Hope I helped!!

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. This book is packed with original plot, characters, and creativity. Ransom Riggs is a model and talented author. I look forward to the movie. The book is immediately engrossing and entertaining. It's well written and I can't wait for the sequel. Delighted to see this is selling so well. That means Mr. Riggs can make a living writing books which clearly is the absolute best use of his time! By the way, I loved it, my daughter loved it, and my granddaughter loved it.

What are some good books for a 17 year old girl? Something different from the usual suggestions please or something new that i wouldn’t have heard of.Thanks.
