My dad. He’s probably like my best friend.. We have so many similarities and share a lot of interests. And he said if there’s one person that he trusts that’ll take care of him when he grows old, it’ll be me.

When I was 16 my father started educating me about the stock market. He’s in heaven and I thank him every day.
My mum has influenced my sense of humour, which is something that is really useful. And.my uncle’s sudden, unexpected death last year has changed my perspective. It made me realise that life is short and we could go at any time. So even though I have had a few nasty life experiences and went through a time of feeling low and negative – I now pick myself up quickly when I’m feeling upset, in fact I’m rarely upset at all now. I enjoy life and take risks, I have thrown myself into doing lots of new things and having new experiences and I even recently gave my number to a guy I really liked for months and took that risk – I would never ever normally do that. It was absolutely fine and Im so glad I did it, otherwise it would have dragged out for months..’what if?’Life is much better when you take risks (within reason) =)

Kiedis often battled with drug addiction, including lengthy addictions to heroin and cocaine, from a very young age. Since his father was an addict, Kiedis was constantly around his drug-using and dealing father, as well as his father’s friends, who engaged in the same activities. Some of Kiedis’ early drug use came from substances he got from his father, including marijuana, which he first smoked when he was 11 years old. He used drugs for years, even into the formation of the band, where other members were also using. He tried to get clean after Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Hillel Slovak died of a heroin overdose (specifically using the method of speedballing) on June 25, 1988, saying he would never shoot up again. He entered rehab and ended up staying clean for five years but relapsed in 1994 and kept using on and off over the next six years. The last major relapse was instigated by a New Zealand doctor prescribing him Ultram despite Kiedis specifically asking for drugs that are not in the opiate family. To a recovering heroin addict, the synthetic opiate only gave rise to strong cravings. This last relapse, as many previous ones, was to a degree also a byproduct of a tumultuous relationship with a woman. He has reportedly avoided another relapse since December 24, 2000. “It’s easy to be a junkie, but it’s not easy to be one of the best guitarists or songwriters of all time,” Kiedis said in the March 2007 issue of Blender. So, back then, yes (All of Them). Now, no (All of them don’t use drugs anymore). And if your a big RHCP fan read “Scar Tissue”. Scar Tissue is the autobiography of Red Hot Chili Peppers vocalist Anthony Kiedis. It was released in 2004 by Hyperion and authored by Kiedis with Larry Sloman, who compiled information and interviewed various parties associated with the plot line. The story follows Kiedis from his birth in 1962 to the (then) present day of early 2004. It follows Kiedis into the depth of his experiences with drug addiction

The song is about a friend of Anthony Kiedis’, a girl named dani, who commited suicide. She lived a crazy life: was pregnant as a teen, robbed banks, was a prostitute, did drugs, was poor her entire life. She was such a wild child because of what the world has turned into. Because California is a trend setting city and is becoming such a bad place (Californication). Anthony knows what a great person she could have been if she wasn’t born into such a cruel world. He fell in love with her after her suicide and fell that much further from love with society, “simultanious release”.or that is just a sexual refrence..ha Anthony knows “what others have died to proove” and this song is a simple tribute to his friend dani and he is singing about how she won’t be lost and a lesson will be learned from her life. That lesson is preached by Anthony (society’s priest) in the song DANI CALIFORNIA

How do I stop the burning and stinging? I have picked the bottom heel part of my foot raw and now it really burns/stings and I really want it to stop! It hurts so much! It also hurts to walk on my heel.

fresh air will heal it, dont pick it! just give it time to heal, prob be stingy for about 2-3 days, but will ease off dont worry just dont pick!

it’s good if stinging occursit means its getting the dirt out of your poresif its stinging it means its doing its job!
It’s not that bad, it’s a little harsh because it contains benzoyl peroxide (to kill bacteria) and alcohol (to dry up the pimples). Your skin will be a little pink after you apply the product but will go away after about an hour.
Would watered down drano burn your eyes if splashed on eyelid? My eyes were closed and water that contained some amount of drano splashed on my eye lid. I kept my eyes closed until thoroughly washed off. My eyes did not burn, sting, go red or feel irritated. Is it safe to say I did not get any chemical in my eye? I am wondering if I need to have them checked or if they are safe. Thanks!
watered down draino is totally fine. you could pour it into your eyes and not feel a think. you can even drink the stuff! don’t worry one bit! I take a good swig of draino right out of the bottle before i go to work and im right as rain.
I think that I have a bladder or UTI infection. Why does the burning and stinging sensation become stronger ? I am pretty sure that I have a bladder or UTI infection. Why does the burning/stinging sensation increase when I stand for long periods of time as opposed to when I sit down?
i think its because u release ur muscles down there when you sit down, but when you’re standing they are constricted. if you see blood in ur pee then you def have a UTI, drink lots of water and cranberry juice, as well as the prescribed meds
the pain gets stronger when the infection causes more irritation. Your urethra becomes irritated with the passing of urine and infection and gets worse as time goes on. Another danger is that your ureters, that lead to your kidneys would become infected and possibly lead to kidney infection. If you are on an antibiotic already and you are not improving then call the doc and let him know. If you are not on an antibiotic then you definitely need one. Water and cranberry juice are great but they are not a cure.
Go to the hospital, not doctor. You will have to pee in a bottle (probably)so they can have a sample to see if you really DO have one. If you do,then they will give you a place to buy a bladder infection medication. If you want to relive the pain I guess, take Tylenal or however you spell it.But ask the nurse or doctor what kind. They do it by weight.
Why is my face still burning after using epiduo? I’ve been using it for about five months and at first it would burn, sting and get dry but it eventually stopped. And now its been burning again when I put it on. And I can tell my face is a lot dryer than usual. And I have some flaky patches. Also, when I put moisturizer on over it, it will burn too. Why is it doing this again? Could it be the weather? Im not doing anything different.
Because it’s cold, your face is dry so it burns when you put the medication on. Same thing happened to me.
How do you make a scratch or cut not burn when wet? I got a scratch and it burns/stings when I shower. Is there a way to make it not sting/burn?
You can buy an anaesthetic aerosol spray which will help ,but it still hurts a bit when you get it wet. It is best to cover the wound up.

Tea tree oil is helpful. Use only tissues with lotion or aloe vera in them and it won’t keep happening.

this may sound weird but buy some chapstick and every night before you go to bed rub it under, around, and on your nose. just get plain so that you do not get any scent or color on your nose. this really helps!

Congrats on your baby!The burning sensation should be gone away within 2 weeks, it should really be getting easier every day by now, if it seems to be worsening, pls call your OBGYN.The tear will depend on the degree of the tear. I had a small episiotomy, and was sore for about 2 – 3 weeks total, it got a bit better everyday. It took 6 mos for it to be totally normal again, but the general pain went away after the 2 – 3 weeks.Best wishes!!
The more sit baths you take the better you’ll heal After my first baby the nurse told me that every time after I urinate to squirt myself with that squirt bottle they give you and atleast take a sitzbath 2 times a day. I healed in fast. After my second baby I didn’t have the time and it took alot longer to heal. Try and take the time for sitzbaths.

It depends what kinds of books she likes.I’m 13 and I recommend several books such as a Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. These are really great if you like mystery and stuff (Ran out of words >_< )I have recently read The Puppy Who Came For Christmas (its not babyish at all. It's a really great true story about a couple who adopt dogs but have to give them away again)My brother brought me "The Wall And The Wing" a few years ago for Christmas and I found that I really great read as well.But this is just my opinion, it does depend what your daughter likes.

A lot depends on her maturity level and interests.I have a 12 year old who is crazy about Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter (I'd Tell You I Love You But Then I'd Have to Kill You), Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard and Immortals by Alysson Noel. I have an 11 year old who isn't yet into the drama and romance of many young adult novels. She likes The Frog Princess by ED Baker, Gone by Michael Grant, The Evolution of Calpurnie Tate by Jacqueline Kelly and Allie Finkel's Rules for Girls by Meg Cabot.Then my 16 year old is into anything dystopian. Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, Birthmarked by Caragh O'Brien, Divergent by Veronica Roth, Chaos Walking by Patrick Ness and Enclave by Ann Aguirre.Take her to the bookstore and browse. Hunger Games would be my first suggestion, as all my kids (11 to 21) read and enjoyed it. I read it also and it's very entertaining. A bit violent, but not bloody or over the top. It's hot right now and there's a movie based on the first book coming out March 23.
Meg Cabot is a great author for young girls. When I was younger I read all of her books. The Princess Diaries books being my favorite (they are much better than the movies. Series of Unfortunate Events is good too and Alice in Wonderland is an excellent book that I still read again and again(:

I loved the 'Beacon Street Girls' I've read all of their books. It's about girls, Katani, a fashionista, Isabel, an artist, Charlotte, a book lover & klutz, Maeve, a very girly-girl with a love of pink & movies & movie stars, Avery, a sportsy and 'Tom-Boy' girl. They are all best friends in 7th grade. I started to read these books in 4th grade, although they were challenging for other students, I could not live without the BSG! They have 16 books in the series and a bunch of Special Adventure Books. It's all about being best friends, there's some mild drama in every book, middle school & fun. It is very realistic because they aren't perfect, and they aren't some weird super-heros or anything! I highly HIGHLY recommend this series!

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.This book is packed with original plot, characters, and creativity. Ransom Riggs is a model and talented author. I look forward to the movie.The book is immediately engrossing and entertaining. It's well written and I can't wait for the sequel. Delighted to see this is selling so well. That means Mr. Riggs can make a living writing books which clearly is the absolute best use of his time! By the way, I loved it, my daughter loved it, and my granddaughter loved it.
